I've set upĀ  Jet Lag site to help long haaul travellers.

We all want to go on wonderful vacations to find the sun!

But how many of us forget that after a long plane flight home we'll need to be in work next day looking fresh and well relaxed!

Problem is we forget about JetLag and get home, go to bed and can't get up again!

A dreaded sicky coming on!

Even though we'll get stick from our boss!!!

Does this seem familiar?

Well I've put this site together to give you lots of information to help you avoid JetLag next vacation.

My personal tips are:

  • Minimise the alcohol consumption on the plane flight back home.
  • Drink as much water as you can
  • Jeep yourself occupied and don;t sleep for too long on the plane. 10-20 minutes max.
  • On the journey home try to make it exciting enough to stop you feeling tired or bored. Perhaps arrangeĀ  to visit a long lost friend or family member.
  • When you get home distract yourself and keep busy until it's your normal bed time.
  • Set your alarm to get up at your normal work day time.

Okay so it works for me but everyone's different.

Take a look at other solutions offered in this site if you think my way might be too difficult for you.

The reason why it works for me is that I still believe I'm on holiday until the minute my head hits my pillow in my own home.

I plan in advance the things I want to do to make the trip home exciting!!

These are great tips. You might add regular exercise to your jet lag fighting arsenal. Maintaining your regular regime will keep your body more in tune.
